> what we collect

  • email address — only if you choose to sign in. used to send a one-time login code and for conversation persistence. never shared or sold.
  • conversation history — your questions and our answers, stored so you can return to past threads. deleted when you delete your account.
  • anonymous usage data — query text, response quality scores, and timing for improving answer accuracy. no personally identifiable information is attached to anonymous queries.
  • feedback — thumbs up/down ratings you give on responses. used to measure and improve quality.
  • engagement events — anonymous counts of which source citations, academy links, and follow-up questions get clicked. used to measure answer usefulness. no ip address or personal identifier is stored alongside these events.
  • shared answers — when you share an answer, the question and response are published at a public URL. shared pages are indexable by search engines. visiting a shared answer logs an anonymous page view (no ip address stored). you can revoke a shared answer at any time, which immediately removes it from public access.

> what we won't do

  • never sell or share your data with third parties

> where your data lives

> your rights

  • use without signing in — Ask K is fully functional without an account. signing in is optional and only adds conversation persistence.
  • revoke a share— any answer you've shared can be un-shared from the chat interface. revoking removes the public page immediately.
