Flow Trigger Types

1. Added to List

  • Triggers when someone meets segment conditions

3. Metric (Event-Based)

  • Triggers when someone takes a tracked action
  • Works with any integration event or API-created events
  • Examples: Started Checkout, Placed Order, filled out a form
  • Note: Performance metrics like Opened Email and Clicked Email cannot be used as flow triggers

4. Date Property

  • Triggers on specific dates or before certain dates
  • Can recur monthly or yearly
  • Perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, or time-sensitive campaigns
  • Works with date properties on profiles or custom objects

5. Price Drop

  • Triggers when viewed or abandoned cart items drop in price
  • Can be set by dollar amount ($10) or percentage (20%)
  • Great for re-engaging potential customers

6. Low Inventory

  • Triggers when viewed or abandoned items are running low in stock
  • Can specify thresholds by product variant or total product stock
